Can you believe it has been nearly 10 years since the beginning of Subguns.com?

After the demise of the Machine Gun News internet boards 10 years ago, Tom Bowers and Mike Stannard put together Subguns.com in an attempt to give the internet NFA community a place to hang out.

From that humble beginning of a single board, Subguns.com has grown to become the preeminent NFA website in the world. As with any great community, the strength comes from the people. We at Subguns.com believe that we have best group of people anywhere and we want to show our appreciation to you, the users.

To mark the occasion, Subguns.com is having a 10th anniversary BCR party and BBQ to be held in conjunction with the Big Sandy/MG Shooters Spring Shoot in Wikieup, Arizona March 22nd through the 25th.

We chose to partner with the Big Sandy/MG Shooters group for the 10th anniversary party because it gives us the best venue for a good old time BCR campground experience of days gone past. Also, weather permitting (read; low fire danger) you will see the biggest, wildest night shoot anywhere.

For those that remember the old days of the Subguns campground at 'The Crick', here is your chance to relive that experience. Those that only heard about those gatherings and never came out to one, here is your chance to see what it was all about. The Big Sandy/MG Shooters shoots already has that Subguns/BCR flavor and this Spring’s party, BBQ and shoot will surely rank as one of the all time BCR experiences. The Subguns.com dinner/party will be held Thursday night, March 22nd featuring a BBQ steak dinner. Tickets for the BBQ dinner are available when you send in your registration for the Big Sandy/MG Shooters shoot at a cost of $20.00 per person.

Friday through Sunday is the 2007 Spring Big Sandy /MG Shooters shoot, the biggest machine gun shoot in the country. BCRs and other shooters from across the country will man a line over a quarter of a mile wide to take on a huge desert range filled with plate targets, reactive targets as well as trying to down the world famous MG Shooters air force of remote controlled airplane targets! The Big Sandy shoot features the friendliest, most knowledgeable, dedicated shooters displaying and shooting the most diverse array of NFA including exotic shoulder fired, beltfed and crew served weapons of all sorts, miniguns, cannons up to the largest in private control. It’s a tremendous experience just to view the vast inventory of private NFA items.

In order to attend the Subguns.com 10th anniversary party (with or without purchasing the $20 BBQ dinner) you must also be a registered 'shooter' or 'spectator' for the Big Sandy/MG Shooters shoot (Currently $200 and $25 respectively). Big Sandy/MG Shooters will handle all the registration/money for the BBQ and shoot. Registration information can be found at www.mgshooters.com.

Scheduled matches at Big Sandy include TSMG, subgun, BAR, Assault Rifle, M1 Garand, 40 mm. MG Shooters Inc. offers machine gun rentals of many subguns and crew served mg's including beltfeds (prices vary). The Thursday night Subguns.com steak dinner is $20. Advance purchase of the Subguns.com steak BBQ tickets will be required so that there is an accurate supply allocation for the servers. Food for the remainder of the weekend (Friday lunch thru Sunday breakfast) will be prepared by the Kingman 4-H Club, with a special dinner Saturday night at the cost of $10.00. It is requested that you sign up ahead of time for this meal, but it is not a must.

Line positions will be assigned by March 1st. This event is $200.00 for a shooter, $25.00 for a spectator, and $70 for a vendor. There are separate camping areas for shooters and spectators. Gate opens at 7:30 am and closes at 10:00pm. The only amenities are J Johns so come prepared. Hotels are available in Kingman, AZ.

It is recommended that you get your application in early to sign up for this event as there will be a limited number of available meals. Come join us at our remote scenic range near Wikieup Arizona. This is a dedicated machine gun and artillery range.
